What Are Dental Implants?
Denture implants, also known as overdentures, are attached to implants that have been placed into a strong jaw bone. Unlike full dentures which rest on the gums, implants create a better support system to hold your dentures in place. However, the jaw may not always have enough bone to support implants for overdentures.
You may qualify for overdentures if there are no teeth left in the jaw, but enough bone to support implants. We work closely with dental professionals who will insert the implant, an artificial root made of titanium metal. Next, an artificial replacement tooth is attached to the implant, providing a full set of pearly whites.
